Targeted therapy drug monitoring in digestive oncology: Dosage of plasma levels of various multikinase inhibitors (MKI) in patients treated for advanced digestive cancer (gastrointestinal stromal tumor (GIST), metastatic colorectal cancer (mCRC), hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), gastroenteropancreatic neuroendocrine tumor (gepNET), or pancreatic neuroendocrine tumor (pNET)), with the aim of determine the optimal dose adapted for each patient, in the future.
Retinoblastoma (RB) is the most common intraocular malignancy in children, accounting for approximately 11% of all cancers diagnosed in children under the age of one. Although its incidence is relatively low-about 1 in 15,000 to 20,000 live births-RB has a high risk of intracranial metastasis via the optic nerve, often leading to poor prognosis in advanced cases. Recent advances in administration routes, such as intravitreal and intra-arterial chemotherapy, have significantly improved eye preservation rates. However, these strategies are limited by cumulative retinal toxicity and drug resistance. In refractory cases, enucleation remains the only definitive treatment to prevent...
The aging population and its accompanying burden from non-communicable chronic diseases predicts an increasing impact imposed by frailty on healthcare systems. This is due to a lack of normative data for older adults and reliable risk stratification methods to develop effective approaches to the prevention of frailty. In this study, the investigators plan to form a common dataset for phenotype identification, risk stratification of frailty and its targeted treatment plans in the at-risk and mildly frail population.
This is a pilot phase Ib study of the feasibility and safety of dapagliflozin (in addition to standard of care treatment) for the treatment of pediatric patients with recurrent brain tumors and relapsed/refractory solid tumors. The primary hypothesis is that dapagliflozin is well-tolerated and safe to use in this patient population. The investigators also hypothesize that dapagliflozin will be efficacious as an adjunct to front-line chemotherapy assessed by decreased tumor markers mediated by its pleiotropic metabolic effects.
This research study involves a combination of three drugs given together as a possible treatment for malignant rhabdoid tumor, atypical teratoid rhabdoid tumor, epithelioid sarcoma, chordoma or other tumors that are deficient in one of two possible proteins, either INI-1 (SMARCB1) or SMARCA4. The names of the study drugs involved in this study are: - Tazemetostat (TAZVERIK) - Nivolumab (OPDIVO) - Ipilimumab (YERVOY)
The goal of this clinical trial is to test a combined therapy approach (allogeneic cytomegalovirus [CMV]-specific T cells and pembrolizumab) in patients with brain cancer. The type of brain cancer being studied is glioblastoma multiforme/astrocytoma grade 4. The purpose of part 1 of this study is to determine the maximum-tolerated dose and/or recommended dose(s) for future exploration of allogeneic CMV-specific T cells as monotherapy or in combination with pembrolizumab in patients with recurrent GBM/astrocytoma grade 4. Part 2 of the study aims to investigate the anti-tumour activity of allogeneic CMV-specific T cells as monotherapy or in combination with...
This is an open-label, dose escalation, multi-center, Phase I/II clinical trial to assess the safety of an autologous T-cell therapy (EB103) and to determine the Recommended Phase II Dose (RP2D) in adult subjects (≥ 18 years of age) who have relapsed/refractory (R/R) B-cell NHL. The study will include a dose escalation phase followed by an expansion phase.
The purpose of this study is to learn if dendritic cell vaccine will increase the effect of tumor infiltrating lymphocytes given with chemotherapy and interleukin-2 in patients with melanoma.
TUXEDO-4 is an international, multicentric, single arm, phase II study aiming to gather additional solid evidence of Trastuzumab-Deruxtecan (T-DXd) activity in patients with Human Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor 2 (HER2)-low breast cancer with active brain metastases. This study will analyze the efficacy of T-DXd as determined by overall response rate (ORR) at any timepoint as judged by best CNS response according to RANO-BM criteria.
This is a combination study of Tebentafusp and the PI3Kdelta inhibitor, Roginolisib
