A small tube will go through the respiratory tract and a non contact cauterization will be done to the inside tumor
This is a single arm, open-label, multi-center, pilot studies (Investigator Initiated Trial, IIT) to evaluate the safety, preliminary efficacy, pharmacokinetics of universal T-cells engineered with chimeric natural killer receptor (CNK-UT) to treat the patients with relapsed/refractory Neuroblastoma.
A retrospective crosssectional observational study of the effects of oncological treatment and frequent general anesthesia on neuropsychological development, psychosocial functioning (in terms of anxiety, depression, peer relations, perceived cognitive functioning and potential trauma) and health related quality of life in children and young adults who were treated or screened for retinoblastoma.
To determine the minimum scan duration for fluorine-18 positron-emitting radioactive isotope-fluorodeoxyglucose (18F-FDG) positron emission tomography (PET)/computed tomography (CT) scans performed on a total-body PET/CT scanner that results in non-inferior image quality to 18F-FDG PET/CT scans performed on a conventional PET/CT scanner. The subject population will be patients being staged for lung cancer, lymphoma, or melanoma.
This research aims to explore the relationship between hormonal receptor expression and the clinical and histopathological characteristics of meningiomas. The underlying hypothesis is that hormonal receptor expression, as well as the methylation profile of their gene promoters, are associated with specific aspects of meningiomas and patients' clinical outcomes. The main objective is to study the correlation between the immunohistochemical expression of hormonal receptors and clinicopathological data. The secondary objectif is to study the correlation between the methylation profile of hormonal receptor gene promoters and their immunohistochemical expression.
This study will investigate the use of safety and feasibility of cryoablation in brain tumors
It has been suggested that pathologists' diagnostic accuracy and confidence could be improved if they gained access to additional clinical information and in-vivo clinical and dermoscopic images of melanocytic tumors. This study examines the effect of digital training for pathologists in interpreting dermoscopic and clinical skin tumor images. The primary outcome of the upcoming DAHT RCT (Dermoscopy Augmented Histology Trial, a randomized controlled trial) is the diagnostic value (accuracy, sensitivity, and specificity) for the intervention and control group. For this purpose, we need an expert agreeable MPATH-Dx classification and diagnosis for all DAHT cases. The DAHT...
This is a feasibility single arm study designed for obtaining early data for optimization and evaluation of the clinical potential for a new MR technique using deuterated glucose. The purpose of the study is to investigate whether this technique is useful in metabolic imaging of glioblastoma multiforme (GBM) and whether radiochemotherapy (RCT) induced changes in the brain metabolism can be detected and might be predictive for treatment response. The study will include 10 patients with histologically verified GBM scheduled for standard RCT. Patients will have MRI scan performed before and within 8 weeks after starting RCT. The scans will include imaging after oral intake of...
Currently, there are no standardised fall risk scores or guidelines on when to use appropriate assistive gait devices (AGDs) for people with neuromuscular disorders (NMDs). There is a clear medical unmet need to provide a battery of appropriate locomotor gait assessments to determine the risk of falling for patients with NMDs and give clear guidelines to prescribe an appropriate AGD. The primary goal is to confirm whether the clinical battery assessments (Heel-Rise Test (HRT), Chair-Rise Test (CRT), Semi-tandem Stand (STS), Trunk-Rise Test (TRT), Foot-Tapping Test (FTT), Timed Up and Go (TUG), 10-Meter-Walk Test (10MWT) and 6-Minute-Walk Test (6MWT) can be validated and...
Prospective clinical trial investigating combined, dual 18F-FDG PET/CT and 64Cu-DOTATATE PET/CT imaging of patients with gastroenteropancreatic neuroendocrine neoplasms (GEP-NEN)
