This study develops a multimodal AI model using endoscopic ultrasound, white-light endoscopy, and clinical information to support the diagnosis of upper GI mesenchymal tumors and the risk stratification of gastric GISTs.
Target population: Patients with (1) newly diagnosed or (2) past history of pheochromocytomas and paragangliomas (PPGL) or (3) carrier of genetic mutations in known PPGL susceptibility genes. International multicenter prospective cohort study with randomized intervention (special care follow-up vs. standard care follow-up). All patients will receive instructions about follow-up at the time point of study inclusion. Patients randomized to the standard care follow-up group will be advised to return annually for follow-up according to current routine practice (without active re-scheduling). In contrast, patients randomized to the special care follow-up group will also be...
KRANIOPHARYNGEOM Registry 2019 will prospectively collect and descriptively analyse data on diagnostics, treatment, and follow-up of patients with craniopharyngioma. In continuation of preceding studies also patients with xanthogranuloma, meningioma, pituitary adenoma, prolactinoma and cystic intracranial malformations will be registered.
This phase 2 multicenter, open-label clinical trial will evaluate safety and efficacy of 4 weeks of oral seliciclib in patients with newly diagnosed, persistent, or recurrent Cushing disease. Funding Source - FDA Office of Orphan Products Development (OOPD)
This protocol will enroll patients with pancreatic adenocarcinoma and adenosquamous carcinoma (Cohort 1), gastrointestinal/pancreatic neuroendocrine neoplasms with Ki-67 > 20% (Cohort 2) and neuroendocrine prostate carcinoma (Cohort 3)). Each cohort will have its own interim analysis after enrollment of 10 patients. Subjects will be given a one-month (28 day) supply of study drug (ESK981). Subjects will be instructed to take 4 capsules, with or without food, once per day for 5 consecutive calendar days, then take a drug holiday for 2 consecutive days before repeating the 5 days on-2 days off cycle in sets of 4 weeks or 28 calendar days. Subjects will be asked to keep a pill...
Primary objectives: Primary objectives are to assess and define benchmarks of the surgical outcome in the form of extent of resection, functionality, and quality of life after resection of juxta medullary tumors Secondary objectives: Assessment of variables leading to better outcome through regression analysis: 1. Influence of surgical approach on functionality, pain, and quality of life 2. Comparison between patient with severe neurological (McCormick scale 3-5) to patients with mild deficits (McCormick scale 1-2) 3. Role of intraoperative monitoring (IOM) in extent of resection and neurological deficits Assessment of treatment variations: 1. Assessment of risk factors for...
The goal of this observational study is to gain new insights into the changes in proteins, genes and other molecular biological substances in the aqueous humour, vitreous humour, blood serum and, in rare cases, retina/choroid samples in patients with ocular lymphoma disease. The hope is that this will expand the understanding of the mechanisms of the disease and thus contribute to improved and simplified diagnosis and treatment strategies in the future. The aim is the inclusion of at least 220 patients during the study period. The main questions it aims to answer are: - to evaluate the diagnostic quality of extended molecular diagnostics (based on standard work-up) of...
This prospective study aims to evaluate the sensitivity and specificity of an integrated model using fragmentomic profiles of plasma cell-free DNA for early detection of pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors.
1. To retrospectively explore the feasibility of multi-dimensional heterogeneity imaging features of MRI in predicting the status of key gene mutations in high-grade gliomas; 2. To prospectively explore the correlation between multi-dimensional heterogeneous MRI image features and prognosis of high-grade glioma patients.
This is a health services intervention study aimed at understanding the impact of intensive multi-disciplinary care compared with standard care on patient-reported symptom outcomes and prognostic awareness in patients with brain metastases.
